Devised and presented by Robert Daniels, James Peachey-Baker, and Andy Roberts
In this participative performance installation passersby are asked to spend an hour making a piece of art with legendary bushy haired, dulcet toned artist; Bob Ross.
By following Bob’s renowned television tutorials, the general public put brush to canvas in an effort to challenge the notion of artistic expertise and virtuosity. “Art…”, as Bob points out, “…is for all.”, and with his gentle couching apprehensive novices will perhaps become have-a-go heroes.
The artworks created will be celebrated, displayed and perhaps even sold in the gallery space provided. Workshops will be open to all but participation limited to the number of canvases we can afford/provide.
